I decided to do this Numis Review because of the controversy that seems to surround both the the Company and the Network marketing industry as a whole.

Here’s what I found…..

When people don’t understand Network marketing, there is often criticism and a lot of people don’t seem to “get” the gold and silver coin collecting “thing”!

The Numis Network is currently the only Network Marketing company in the world whose product is graded gold and silver numismatic coins and therefore they are a pioneer in the MLM industry, but with it of course comes controversy.

The first thing to note in this Numis Review for those who may be looking at this from the product perspective is that these are not bullion coins (bullion coins are just coins that are worth the value of the gold and silver that is actually in the coin and therefore the value will fluctuate with the gold and silver market). However, Numis coins are graded and certified and their value is determined not only by their gold and silver content, but also on their rarity, condition and collector demand which probably makes them more desirable and collectable than ordinary ungraded bullion coins.

All the coins are based on the global standard for grading a coin’s condition with the Sheldon Scale which ranges from 1 to 70 with 70 indicating a flawless coin and the highly desirable M70 American Silver Eagle is one of the premium products here in this Numis Review.

Numis have tapped into a rapidly expanding Coin collecting industry which is estimated to be worth over $10m in the United States and over $100m worldwide. Whilst this Numis review can confirm that the Company is currently only operational in the USA and Canada, there is a huge buzz in the industry as the Company launches in the UK on 1^st November 2011.

Numis’ own comments are that “If you are going to collect something, then why not collect money” and the Numis coins are definitely collector items beautifully displayed but the Company makes it clear throughout their presentation that the coins are NOT considered investments. (Yet so far, since the inception of the Company the value of the coins has only ever increased and these are tangible assets that you are building). I also found out that should you decide to leave Numis, the Company will buy back any of your coins on the auto-ship for 100% of the amount paid, up to 5 years after you purchased them, which I have NEVER heard of before in any network marketing business.

If you are looking at this Numis Review to gain an understanding of how you can build a Network Marketing business, then you should consider the following:

When you join the company, you can purchase the Fast Track Collector’s kit for $495 that includes the stylish presentation case where you can store your collection. The kit also includes the highly desirable MS70 Silver American Eagle coin that I mentioned above, a DVD series to help you learn about and develop your collection and the Company’s own Crystal.

Rather thoughtfully the company has tapped into the fact that many Network Marketers struggle with not having their own website and provides a full BBS back office system for their distributors which is designed to attract both the retail customer and the network marketer.

With the current economic climate there are two major trends to capitalize on that are of interest here:

1) The Home based business – When the economic climate is poor, studies prove that people will research extra ways to earn an income online and it is true that during a recession, Network Marketing companies go through a rapid growth phase.

2) The new gold rush. Gold and silver marketing is “hot” right now. At the high end you have investors telling you to buy it and at the other end of the chain you have companies trying to buy it from you as prices soar and gold reaches an all time high.

Numis network is therefore well positioned to capitalize on both of these trends, however the problem throughout the Network Marketing industry is still the fact that most are uneducated and unskilled in the area of prospecting and recruiting and may NOT be able to build a successful team despite everything in their favour. However working alongside an experienced online marketer with an effective marketing system has proved to be successful for many distributors and is definitely the way I recommend, not only in Numis, but in ANY Network marketing company.

Whilst carrying out my research for this Numis review, I came across many positives and a few negatives that are far too detailed to list all of them here, but I would be happy to reveal them to anyone who is interested and will prepare a detailed report in time.

The reason I carried out such a thorough Numis review was because of my interest in such a unique and controversial company.
