When Amsoil first arrived on the scene, it was known for synthetic lubricants and filters, and it was also widely known as the company that was The First in Synthetics.

Simply put, Amsoil is a name that you might be familiar with when you hear a conversation about motor oil, lubricants, engine oil, or even air filters. The company was actually founded by Albert Amatuzio, who had spent time working with lubricants for jets while he was in the US Air Force, and then decided to create one that would be suitable for vehicles as well.

Amsoil knew that the opportunity was tremendous for their company to grow, and so it was that they chose the MLM business model to market their products.

Those who wish to become a part of the Amsoil Company become what is referred to as an Independent Dealer. Because this product is a viable one and it’s unique in the MLM industry, there is no doubt that it would be a profitable business to be in to say the least. There is definitely a need for motor oil, always!

So, with that being said, how do distributors make their money with Amsoil? There are 6 ways in which you can earn money with Amsoil, including personal retail sales, catalogue sales, sales that occur from product on the shelf, commercial accounts, sponsoring new dealers or customers, and of course your internet sales.

So, you get several avenues by which you can earn your income, which means you have more chances than other businesses out there. Remember with Amsoil having a unique product there is less competition out there when it comes to direct sales!

While Amsoil is a unique opportunity, always keep in mind that you still need to treat this like a business because it is a business. You MUST brand yourself as a leader in order to beat the competition, because new recruits need to be led.

Okay so what’s the one thing that the Amsoil reps definitely won’t be telling you?  Well many Amsoil reps are really struggling and for as every Amsoil rep who is making money with their business there are at least 5 times as many either making no money, or worse, losing money!

The problem within the industry and not just in Amsoil is that reps are told this is easy and that it’s not “selling”.  This is Network Marketing and when a product exchanges hands for money then it is selling!  So unless you know how to network with people and understand marketing, then you have a steep learning curve to conquer first.

With no experience of network marketing training and quite often a sponsor who has no experience either, then many Amsoil reps are disheartened when  95% of the people who they show their business to will say No (FACT!) .

The key point I want to make here in this Amsoil Review, is that you will receive training on how to approach people you know about the business.  But many distributors feel uncomfortable with this, so who do you talk to about your business when you run out of people?

Putting it bluntly (and this is what the Reps definitely won’t tell you) is that unless you are talking to at least 10 people a day about your Amsoil business, then you are never going to have enough sign ups in your business to deal with the huge amount of people who drop out after a couple of months.

The average Network Marketer (and not just in Amsoil) lasts just 3 months because if they don’t start to see an income coming in, then they will leave.
