If you go to reviewtopia, there are many pages of complaints from users that basically suggests this company is out to fleece consumers:
1.. Refund requests ignored
2. Auto debit on paypal even after request for cancellation.
3. Terrible support
These are just a sample of the complaints so I delete all emails promoting this service.

Hi
Yes I do understand your concerns and it was only because it was promoted to me by two very good marketers, that I knew it was going to be good.
So why the complaints? Well I can probably explain it a little in that when it first came to light, it was going to be $150 commissions so the entire “clickbank” crowd jumped in and news across facebook spread like wildfire causing traffic issues to their servers.
So they hadn’t anticipated it getting anything like as much interest and of course immediately it started, some less than scrupulous people were using multiple IP addresses and fake accounts just to get the commissions. They had no choice but to pull everything down for a few days whilst they sorted it out. During that time there were lots of complaints as people didn’t know what was going on. They reduced the commissions to $50 and made it so that you had to be a customer yourself in order to profit and this has worked out very well because it is a product that is very much needed in the industry.
Anyway I hope that clarifies a little – it is a good product and now they have sorted out the back end, the funnel converts very well indeed.

How do you explain the fact that refunds were ignored, files were duplicated to take up more space, warning emails to upgrade package. This has nothing to do with the unethical marketers. Unless, you are saying all the reviews were engineered by a competitor??

Well I don’t know about that Boon – do you have proof of this? I have certainly not heard of any of this going on, but i do know that there were a lot of people complaining at the beginning for the reasons I mentioned before.
Like you say – it is probably best that you turn off your emails to this if you don’t have any confidence in them. Personally I have found their customer support to be good and their product is very good, so I have no problem in recommending it.

anything going on with MyPCBackUp lately, it looks like it’s been over 6 months since last post? Most specifically, how are sales and what is the current commission amount?

Hi Al
Well I got involved with this as kind of a promotion leading into the Empower Network, but this has changed slightly now due to the new Pure Leverage launch – have you been hearing about it? I still use the MyPC Backup product myself (to back up my own PC), but the commissions on the Pure Leverage Tool suite are 100% up front and then 50% monthly plus a chance to get another 50% through qualification).
Here’s the link to the Pure Leverage system – this will go crazy tomorrow when it launches so I am taking in founding positions. It is part of GVO (top hosting and Autoresponder system) that has now revamped to be a business opportunity. I have looked at all the tools and I am impressed. The commission structure and payplan is awesome too and a LOT of my most respected marketing friends are joining in on this one too.
